Dr. Lina Kim, DDS
CEO & Founder
My name is Lina Kim, I am a dentist and social entrepreneur dedicated to curating more convenient solutions for dental healthcare. As the world around us changes, we need modern solutions to match; this is why I created Floss Boss Mobile.
Floss Boss is a mobile dental clinic designed to bridge the gap between oral hygiene and accessibility. Taking time out of the day isn’t always the easiest thing to do, especially when your days are booked with work, errands, after-school activities for the kids, and anything else that life throws at you. As a single mother of two kids, I can relate to the inconveniences of taking three hours out of the day just to make it to a one hour appointment.
Convenience was something that I took into account after evaluating all of the possible obstacles when coming to the dentist, so I wanted to make it easier for my patients by bringing the experience to them.
Community service is something that I highly value. I spend a lot of my time outside of the office volunteering at various clinics, helping those who can’t afford dental healthcare. When I first envisioned this mobile clinic, I knew this could also be utilized to serve communities outside of the greater Seattle area. As we grow together, I hope to dedicate a portion of our time to serving communities who can’t access dental healthcare.
The purpose of Floss Boss is much larger than dentistry itself, representing the holistic values that we hold as healthcare providers. This is my story, and I am very excited for the positive impact that Floss Boss can bring to our community and beyond.
